Description
Peel and grate or slice. Sautéed ginger, onion and garlic form the basis of many Asian dishes including curries and stir-fries. It is also used in ginger beer, preserves and sweets. Dried, it adds tang to biscuits, gingerbread and cakes. It can be used to tenderise meat as well as add a distinctive fresh heat to meat dishes. Do not peel before storage.
