Kiwifruit Gold

Description

The Golden Kiwi is similar in size to common kiwis, but gold or bronze in colour. It is slightly more pointed and arguably has fewer seeds. Kiwi fruits are packed with nutrients - very high in vitamin C, potassium, vitamin E, and a small amount of vitamin A just to name a few. They are the perfect snack. Just cut them in half and eat them fresh with a teaspoon. They are a nutritious and decorative addition to fruit platters, fruit salads, cheese boards and tarts. They add a distinctive organic flavour to smoothies and juices. Rub the fruit with a paper towel to remove the hairs. Ripen at room temperature then store in your fridge. Available June to September.
