Lettuce Iceberg

Description

The classic Iceberg Lettuce is compact and quite heavy compared to other lettuce. It is best known for a crisp texture, a small core and cupped leaves that hold their shape. Having such strong cupped leaves, they are often used to hold fillings (Vietnamese spiced meats, prawns, Chinese ground pork). Remove the damaged/course outer leaves before storing. Place in the crisper or in a plastic bag with a paper towel, in the fridge for up to 5 days.
